First Time Setup

Using any new software for the first time can be daunting. At Polar Monitoring we have made the first time account setup process as streamlined and user friendly as possible to get you up and running ASAP. 

Below are the steps required to setup your account getting started with your gateway. 

  1. Register an Account

  2. Setup your Group

  3. Manage your User Role

    • Note: As a 1st time, self registered user, to the system your default role will be Manager. In order to gain full technical access you will need to edit your role to Technician as well. 

  4. Setup a Site

  5. Add a Cloud License to a Site

  6. Link your Gateway to a Site

  7. Link Devices to your Gateway

  8. Configure Devices

  9. Invite new Users to Groups

  10. Set up Alerts

  11. Setup Custom Dashboards
