Why didn’t I receive my alert ?

Alerts are setup on the Polar Cloud to inform users of issues. There are mutiple types of alerts that can be used to provide the best service possible from the Cloud.

If alerts are setup and you or other users are still not receiving them follow the steps below:
General Checks:
- Ensure that yourself or the users meant to be receiving the alerts are ticked in the notifications section in the alert menu
- Ensure that yourself or the users have verified their phone number and email address.
- This will show up as a red square in the alert notification section when tyring to setup a user to receive the alert
- Ensure the user or yourself are part of the same group that the device is in.
Email Specific Alert Issues:
- Check that the Email address on your account is correct
- Check that the the Polar Cloud notification is not going to the spam mailbox or has been blocked
Phone Specific Alert Issues
- Check that the Phone number used in your profile is correct
- Check that SMS number from the Polar Cloud is not blocked on your mobile device. sometimes these SMS’s can come from the same number as other spam services. We our best to not let this happen.
- Confirm that the phone in question has cell reception
- Confirm that the phone number has not been un-verified by the Polar Cloud.
- If more than four SMS’s have been sent from the Polar Cloud and have “Bounced” the system will automatically un-verfiy your number.
- If this happens please navigate to the “My Profile” Section of the platfrom to re-verify your phone number.
