CLOUD UPDATE: Calculated Fields, Improved Ticketing and Easier Navigation
This latest update focuses on practical improvements across Polar Cloud, making it easier to manage support, work with data and navigate the platform.
Updated Support Ticketing System
The support ticketing system has been redesigned to improve usability and responsiveness.
Managing messages, stakeholders and attachments is now more straightforward, with a cleaner layout and faster interaction throughout the system.
These changes are aimed at making day to day support processes more efficient and easier to manage.
New Feature: Calculated Fields
Calculated Fields introduce a more flexible way to work with data inside Polar Cloud.
Users can combine multiple data points to create virtual meters, allowing for more tailored monitoring without additional hardware.
Up to 26 terms can be used in a single calculation, and fields can reference other Calculated Fields to support more advanced setups.
Calculated Fields can also be used in dashboards, making it easier to visualise combined data in a meaningful way.
New Feature: Hierarchical Tag Select
A new Hierarchical Tag Select system has been added to improve how users find and organise assets.
This provides a more structured way to search and filter, particularly useful for larger sites with multiple devices and layers of data.
